Professional info
 

I am a Graduate Student at the University of New Brunswick.  My Masters thesis concentrates on war memorials in New Brunswick in the interwar period.  Broadly, I am interested in warfare and commemoration.  I am also a classial musician and have played and sung with some of the top orchestras and choirs in the province.

Program Assistant-- Gregg Centre for the Study of War and Society

Provide support for the various programs and lectures put on by the Gregg Centre at the University of New Brunswick.  Specific duties include updating the website and blog, 

 

Writing Centre Graduate Tutor

2014 - present

 

Responisble for providing one-on-one tutoring for undergraduate students at a liberal arts institiution.  Also responsible for helping to develop tools to help students with their writing in the future.

 

Course Assistant-- University of New Brunswick

Responsible primarily for marking papers of undergraduate students in a history course concentrated on Technology and Society.

Head Guide (2013)-- In a team, responsible for mentoring the other guides as well as providing a bridge between the guides and the upper management.

As a guide (2012 and 2013), responsible for giving guided tours in both French and English to school groups and the general public, and promoting commemoration and Remembrance.

Ensuring that the operations of the National Historic Site run smoothly, enabling visitors to have a meaningful and memorable experience while paying tribute to the fallen of the First World War

Responsible for teaching 24 Grade 4 students violin.  Singing, note-naming (solfège), and rhythm work.
